2026 Parade of Homes
FIVE HOMES, FIVE DIFFERENT ANSWERS:
INSIDE CLASSIC HOMES AT THE 2026 PARADE OF HOMES
There’s no single way to live in Colorado Springs anymore.
Some buyers need a place for aging parents that doesn’t mean giving up independence. Some want a main-level primary suite and a basement built for hosting. Some are doing the math on a rental unit that helps carry the mortgage. Some just want a kitchen worth cooking in.
This year, Classic Homes entered five homes in the Parade of Homes—spanning three collections and nearly 17,900 square feet—and each one answers a different version of that question. Here’s what you’ll find inside.
THE PAINTBRUSH 2242 WITH ADU
Portrait Collection | 2,260 sq. ft. | 4 bedrooms | 3.5 baths
8711 Shorewood Drive, 80908
Community: Sterling Ridge
A 1,699-square-foot primary residence paired with a 561-square-foot accessory dwelling unit above the attached, alley-load two-car garage.
The main level opens with a welcoming living room at the front of the home that flows seamlessly into a spacious kitchen and dining area that conveniently opens to a covered side patio. An Owner’s Entry with drop zone tucks in at the garage return, giving coats, mail, keys, and groceries a proper landing spot before the family reaches the kitchen. Upstairs, the primary suite features a private bath and walk-in closet, joined by two secondary bedrooms, two additional full baths, and a dedicated laundry room.
Above the garage, the self-contained ADU claims its own private exterior entry, full kitchen, living area, bedroom with walk-in closet, full bath, and stacked laundry.
The interior leans warm and current. Two cabinet finishes work together—a warm stained wood that reads organic and cozy, balanced by a crisp painted white that keeps the rooms bright. Gold plumbing fixtures meet matte black hardware for contrast. Soft sage ties it all together, showing up as a glossy handmade-look tile in the
primary bath and a penny-round mosaic in the secondary bath.
Worth knowing: the Paintbrush is available in three distinct exterior elevation styles—farmhouse, modern, and craftsman.
THE PALETTE 2243 WITH ADU
Portrait Collection | 2,344 sq. ft.
3594 Greenways Main Blvd., 80922
Community: Greenways at Sand Creek
The Palette takes the ADU idea and refines the access. Its 561-square-foot unit is reached by a private at-grade entry accessible from outside or through the garage—a small detail that makes a real difference, offering true independence for a tenant and easy interior access when family is staying.
The elevation reads crisp and current: board-and-batten siding, a black standing-seam metal roof over a deep covered porch, and a gabled roofline that gives the two-story massing a farmhouse silhouette. Inside, the covered porch opens into a generous living room that flows into the island kitchen and dining area. A private home office sits off the entry.
Step inside and it feels immediately easy to settle into. The kitchen sets the tone, where deep shale-gray cabinetry meets frost-white quartz counters and a glossy white tile
backsplash—crisp and clean, and warmed by the weathered brown wood floors that carry through the main level. Upstairs, the owner’s suite is made for winding down, with a deep charcoal wall behind the bed and soft carpet underfoot.
Whether it houses aging parents, a returning graduate, or a long-term tenant generating monthly income, the ADU adapts as life does—one price, two homes, and unlimited potential.
THE PREAMBLE 279 WITH DETACHED ADU
Preamble Collection | 2,330 sq. ft. | 4 bedrooms | 3 baths
8760 Naperville Heights, 80908
Community: Sterling Ridge
This one proves a well-planned home lives far larger than its square footage. The 489-square-foot ADU sits above a detached two-car garage out back, reached by its own private stairs and entry—about as much separation as you can get while still sharing a lot.
The primary residence spans three finished levels. The main level lives open and easy, with the living room, dining area, and kitchen sharing one bright, connected space, a walk-in pantry close at hand, and a covered patio just beyond. Upstairs, the owner’s suite offers a private bath and walk-in closet, joined by a secondary bedroom, a dedicated laundry, and a central loft that works as a study, media space, or quiet retreat. The finished basement adds a rec room, a fourth bedroom with walk-in closet, and a full bath.
The interior is the quietest of the five. Pale oak-toned plank flooring and Egret White walls keep the rooms open and airy, while Black Fox painted maple cabinetry anchors every space in a deep, warm charcoal. That single cabinet color carries from the kitchen through the baths and into the ADU, which gives the whole home a cohesive, intentional feel.
Outside, earthy stucco pairs with soft neutral board-and-batten, offset gable and shed rooflines, and a wood post-bracketed porch that gives the entry real presence.
THE DYNASTY II 610, ELEVATION A
Classic Collection | 5,709 sq. ft.
8215 Poco Rd., 80908
Community: The Retreat at Prairie Ridge
One of the largest and most sought-after two-story homes Classic Homes builds, spanning a 2,422-square-foot main level, an 865-square-foot upper level, and a 2,422-square-foot finished walk-out basement.
The main level centers on an open great room, dining, and gourmet kitchen with walk-in pantry and scullery, complemented by a separate family room that offers a quieter gathering space. The owner’s suite anchors one wing with a spa-inspired bath and generous walk-in closet, while a dedicated study sits off the entry. Upstairs, a central loft opens over the great room, flanked by two secondary bedrooms and a shared bath.
Downstairs is where this home makes its case. The finished walk-out basement extends the home’s entertaining reach with a spacious rec room, custom wet bar, fitness studio, and guest suite. Outdoor living grows the home again—a partially covered deck off the great room and a lower-level courtyard patio built for Colorado evenings year-round.
The interior draws from Colorado’s natural palette—warm wood tones, creamy textures, and soft accents of rust and deep green that feel grounded and inviting rather than overdone. Downstairs, a natural stacked-stone fireplace anchors the rec room, echoed at the wet bar in charcoal cabinetry and leathered stone. Luxury and comfort,
without the fuss.
THE INFINITY 414-A
Classic Collection | 5,242 sq. ft.
5896 Rough Trail, 80908
Community: Flying Horse North
A signature ranch with a 2,621-square-foot main level and matching finished walk-out basement.
The elevation reads unmistakably Colorado—stacked stone, board-and-batten gables, timber corbels, and a split three-car garage flanking a covered, stone-framed entry. Inside, the main level opens to a great room anchored by a custom-designed gas fireplace and framed by a 12-foot sliding glass door that flows to a partially covered deck with a custom pergola. The adjacent chef’s kitchen features a walk-in pantry, butler’s pantry, and breakfast nook.
Downstairs, the walk-out basement delivers a spacious rec room with fireplace, custom wet bar, and dedicated wine room, three additional bedrooms, two full baths, and a powder room—a lower level built to entertain at the same scale as the main.
The interior blends warm, natural tones with a modern industrial edge. Matte finishes ground the palette while vibrant gold accents catch the light against dark, moody details. The kitchen is the centerpiece—stained white oak ceiling beams add depth overhead, natural stone countertops carry beautiful veining across the island, and a modern fireplace anchors the room from across the space.
WHAT TIES THEM TOGETHER
Three of these five homes include a full accessory dwelling unit—and that’s not a coincidence. The questions buyers bring us have changed. An ADU answers several of them at once without asking you to decide today which one you’ll need in five years.
The other two make a different argument: that a well-designed main level and a finished lower level can carry a household through decades of holidays, houseguests, and everyday Tuesdays.
